On the 11 June 2019, HES attended and presented at the Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance in London, describing to a large international audience the recent work by HES, policy approaches to retrofit and the recently completed review of the properties HES has thermally refurbished since 2010. Other speakers considered policy solutions at scale for the 20% of pre 1919 buildings.
