SBE21 Sustainable Built Heritage: Renovating historic buildings for a low-carbon built heritage

April 14-16, 2021 - NOI Techpark, Bolzano, Italy

Online Registration is closed, but you can still register on-site.

The 21st Sustainable Built Heritage Conference is April 14-16, 2021, in Bolzano, Italy. The host organization, the Energy Retrofit of Historic Buildings group of Eurac Research, is creating an event to foster multidisciplinary dialogue between scholars and practitioners working in the fields of energy efficiency and historic building conservation. A primary contributor to the conference will be experts from SHC Task 59: Renovating Historic Buildings Towards Zero Energy along with two other Eurac projects, Alpine Space ATLAS and HyLAB. SBE21 looks forward to receiving abstracts on best practices of energy retrofit in the built heritage sector, conservation-compatible solutions, methodologies for a multidisciplinary design process with a focus on regional development, and policy and decision–making tools and guidelines.
